Who are the Salty Senoritas? The mother-daugther duo behind the clothing, home decor, and accessories of The Salty Senorita—a Central Texas and online boutique unlike any other!

The Salty Señorita is owned by a mother-daughter duo, Mendy and Jacy Williams. Their love for all things salty and southwest has literally been ingrained into both of them since birth. Both raised in the tiny, if you blink you’ll miss it, Central Texas town of Turnersville, they inherited their love for all things south of the border from Troy (Mendy’s dad and Jacy’s grandfather) who has had hunting ranches in and bordering Mexico much of their life—hence the cultural nod. And, if you know these two senoritas, then you know they are both a little salty—in all the best ways!

With a shared love for clothing and accessories but with differing style preferences, they searched for boutiques where they could both shop and both leave with items for their wardrobe and their home that they loved. When that search proved elusive, the dream for their own boutique was born.

Given the opportunity to take over an established boutique provided just the foundation they needed to get them started. In a short time, The Salty Señorita has evolved into exactly what they dreamed of, having wardrobe items for every style and body type and home decor and accessories for a wide range of styles. 

The Salty Señorita has officially closed the doors to its brick-and-mortar store—but not its heart for fashion. As farmers and ranchers at their core, the constant travel to town to keep the storefront open began to overshadow the very lifestyle that inspires the boutique’s bold, western style. It didn’t take long to realize that the elevated presence they were building needed a new kind of address. Now, The Salty Señorita lives entirely online—making it easier than ever to shop their expertly curated collections of clothing, home decor, and accessories, no matter where you roam. While the historic charm of their former space in Downtown Gatesville will always be a part of their story, their future is fully digital—with big dreams ahead.
